Any changes to the Service Plan(s) will restart a Minimum Term. During the initial Minimum Term, unless otherwise indicated, all upgrades and downgrades will trigger full Termination Fees. After the initial Minimum Term has ended, upgrades and downgrades may trigger a Service Plan change penalty to be quoted at the time of request for change of Service Plan(s). Please contact a Sales Representative or Customer Service Representative for details. 13. On termination of a Service, there will be no pro-ration of subscriptions or allowances and a full month’s subscription will be charged and a full month’s allowance will be available. In the event of a pre-mature termination, in addition to the foregoing, Termination Fees are payable.
3. Iridium GO! exec Pricing Structure
1. Iridium GO! exec Services are generally billed on a volumetric basis. The more Airtime that is transmitted (in both the “send” and “receive” directions), the greater the monthly invoice will be. There are mechanisms to ameliorate this, such as Airtime bundles/ allowances, in which a quantity of Airtime is included in the monthly Service Plan. But the principle remains that Airtime Service Fees will be directly proportional to Airtime usage.
Iridium GO! exec Plans have been developed for use with and, are only available for use (1) for data-focused, commercial / enterprise and government Land Mobile purposes, (2) for Multi-Service Use, such as by recreational users that require location flexibility or general personal communications purposes, or (3) for Recreational Maritime purposes. For clarity, these plans are not available for use for Commercial Maritime Purposes.
2. Data and Voice - Iridium GO! exec Services consist of Standard IP Data Service.
Standard IP Data is charged identically whether it is passed in the “send” or “received” directions, on the basis of separate charge lines with a global charge irrespective of destination.
Iridium App Messaging is dependent on completion of Certus IMT development and introduction of new Iridium App for IMT-based messaging. When Iridium App Messaging is available, each Iridium App Message sent via IMT will be categorized as a Small App Messaging Event or as a Large App Messaging Event depending upon the size of the message. All Iridium App Messaging is billed per Event.
Circuit switched voice services will be charged at varying rates depending on the destination of such calls with such destinations differentiated between fixed, cellular and satellite terminations.
3. Consumption units – Iridium GO! exec Services are charged in units/increments as below:
|
Service |
Unit of Consumption | Minimum Usage | Increments |
| Standard IP Data | Megabyte | 5 kilobytes | 0.1 kilobytes |
| Voice | Minute | 20 Seconds | 20 Seconds |
| Small App Messaging Event | Per Event | 1 | 1 |
| Large App Messaging Event | Per Event | 1 | 1 |
| Activation | Per SIM | - | - |
| Subscription | Per month, quarter or year per Dual SIM, where applicable, or per SIM, where Dual SIM is not available | 12 months (or as per the service agreement) | As specified |
4. Voice Calls – SatPhoneStore’s voice call costs are differentiated by destination. The most common destinations are landlines and cell phones. Classification of what constitutes a landline and cell phone will be based on each jurisdiction’s treatment of same.
5. Voice Call Forwarding – If the SIM has an alternative call forward number set-up, then any additional costs associated with such call forwarding will be passed on to the SIM that has initiated the call forward.
Example
A SIM has set-up a call forward to its company’s head office. Someone calls the SIM and is automatically diverted to the call forward number. The caller will be charged for the call to the SIM. The SIM will be charged for the call leg from the Iridium network to the call forward destination number.
6. Iridium 2-Stage Dialling – This Service allows Customers to call the Iridium Gateway in Arizona, USA (+1-480-768-2500) and then dial the Iridium subscriber’s phone number directly. The call to the Iridium Gateway in Arizona, USA will be invoiced to the calling party. The Usage of 2-Stage Dialling services will be billed to the Iridium subscriber and can be protected by a PIN. When Iridium 2-Stage Dialling is being used, the phone call will only go through if the satellite terminal being called is outside, turned on and receiving signal. If the satellite terminal is not receiving a signal from the satellite network, any voice calls to that phone will be sent to voicemail.
7. Local Number Access – This Service provides Customers with a local country code telephone number assigned to the terminal to provide reduced rates for incoming calls where available. Charges for inbound calls using Customer’s Local Number Access will be billed to the GO! exec terminal. Each country has its own Telecom regulatory authority(ies) and requirements that must be met in order to obtain a local number. Customer is obligated to comply with any such requirements imposed by such local authority(ies). A country may require registration of Iridium subscribers and true and accurate personal data or personally identifiable information, that identifies the subscriber for the local carrier and/or local regulatory authority ("Registration ").
8. Premium Rate Numbers – Iridium does not currently support any form of Premium Mobile Originated voice calls. Should Iridium or SatPhoneStore incur such a premium charge, then it will be the responsibility of the Customer to settle any such premium charge with the provider of SatPhoneStore.
9. Airtime Allowances – Once the user allowances within any Service Plan have been fully used, any additional usage will be charged at the run-on charge rate. There is no rebate or refund for any allowance. Allowances may be volume based (MB, Events and/or minutes) or Dollar Value based (US$). Additionally, all destinations may not be eligible to be included as part of an allowance. Voice Bundle (minutes) includes ISU-PSTN, ISU-ISU, and ISU-Voicemail voice call types.
Example
A SIM has been activated on a Iridium GO! exec 150MB Plan, in which a 150MB monthly allowance is included in the monthly subscription fee of $500.00.
Data can be used up to the amount of 150MB. After this amount has been reached, all traffic passed (whether voice, data or SMS) will be charged at the Run-on Charge per Minute / Megabyte /SMS. (Note – Prices shown are examples only and do not necessarily reflect the actual Service fees).
10. Unlimited Plans are intended for use by individuals using the Iridium Certus® 100-based Iridium GO! exec terminal operating at 22 kbps / 88 kbps. Unlimited Service Plans are for attended use by Iridium Subscribers for personal and business communications when the Iridium Subscriber is outside of Wi-Fi and cellular coverage and requires satellite coverage. They are intended for use in conjunction with the Iridium GO! exec smartphone application, and subject to the Iridium Certus Fair Access Policy. Use of an Unlimited Plan for unmanned applications or in an unattended manner is strictly prohibited. For clarity, any use of an Unlimited Plan for unattended use, for machine-to-machine (M2M) or internet-of-things (IoT) communications, or for remote monitoring purposes, shall be considered both a violation of the Iridium Certus Fair Access Policy and a violation of the intended use of these plans.
11. Small App Messaging Events - Messaging Events (Small)) are defined as Iridium Messaging Transport™ (“IMT”) messages less than 5 kB in size. The Small App Messaging Events Allowance only counts Small App Messaging Event traffic.
12. Large App Messaging Events - Messaging Events (Large) are defined as larger IMT messages greater than or equal to 5 kB and up to and including 100 kB. Large Iridium Messaging Events that are less than 100 kB are rounded up to 100 kB (for example, a Large Messaging Event of 5.01 kB will be rounded up to 100 kB for rating and pricing purposes). The Large App Messaging Events Allowance includes Large App Messaging Events usage and is drawn from on a per-event usage basis. The individual size of each Large App Messaging Event will not impact the use of the Allowance or Overage charge beyond causing it to be identified as a Large App Messaging Event. For clarity, three (3) Large App Messaging events that are 10 kB each in size individually will count as three (3) Large App Messaging Events and pull from the allowance as such. Once in Overage, each individual Large App Messaging Event will be charged the same whether the individual event was measured at 5.5 kB or 99.5 kB.
13. SMS – An SMS is up to 160 characters in size as defined by the GSM Association. For messages that contain more than 160 characters, an additional SMS will have to be generated manually for the excess characters and sent separately.
3.1) If an SMS is sent to more than one recipient, then there will be a separate CDR and charge for each recipient that this SMS is sent to. .
13.2) SMS charging will be on the basis of submission of each message to the Iridium SMS Centre and not on successful delivery to the recipient.
13.3) There will be no charge to receive an SMS on a GO! exec terminal.
13.4) Iridium does not support or allow any form of Premium SMS, either Mobile originated or Mobile terminated. Should Iridium or SatPhoneStore incur such a premium charge, then SatPhoneStore shall have the right to charge the Customer and the Customer shall pay any such premium charge to SatPhoneStore.
13.5) SMS is currently not available on GO! exec.

7.
